Biography

Composer, director and teacher. After studies in Counterpoint and Harmony in “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Milano, he graduated in organ and organ composition, vocal polyphonic composition and harpsichord.
Organist and choral director of the San Gioachino’s Church in Milano since 1982, he started to teach in 1987 in Pontificio Istituto Ambrosiano of Sacred Music. He won many teacher contest, important awards in Italy and also founded some young orchestral choirs.
He is also an award winning composer and a musical essay writer.
He founded the Weekend Armonico Project with the proposal to offer a new didactical approach to the recreational and amateural chours, with E’ Musica Nuova and 
Ensemble Policorale Cæcilia.
