Carlos Lévy, language and latin litterature professor, is a specialist of hellenistic and roman philosophy. In 1995 He founded the Centre d’Etudes sur la Philosophie Héllenistique et Romaine, at the Université de Paris Val de Marne, he is directs the research team “Rome et ses renaissance”, that he created in 2002 with Perine Galland-Hallyn, nowaday he is Directeur d’Etudes at EPHE (4th section). He published a great number of works on Cicero, Philon of Alexandria, old skepticism and on rethoric. He also studied modern skepticism.
