He teached and conducted researches at London School of Economics and Political Sciences in 1992-1993 and 1995-1996, at the Università Autonoma di Barcellona nel 1988-1989 and at the University of Buenos Aires negli anni 1993-1993, 1993-1994, 1995-1996 e 1996-1997. In 1981-1982, 1982-1983, 1986-1987, 1991-1992 e 1994-1995 he was Directeur d’ Etudes at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales of Paris. He was collaborator of Onassis, Schlumberger, Goulbenkian Foundations and at the Eric Remarque Institute.
