Pierpaolo Pinhas Punturello was born in Naples in 1977. He studied with important figures of international judaism in Italy and Israel (Rav Giuseppe Laras, Rav Eliahu Birnbaum, Rav Shlomo Riskin). He also studied at Istituto Universitario Orientale. He was Rabbi in Jewish Community of Naples and noe lives in Jerusalem, where he teaches at the Hebrew University. He writes for italian jewish reviews an newspaper like “pagine ebraiche” and “Shalom”.
