Mazal Pas Bagdadi was born in Siria. When she was 5, she was sent to Palestine where she grew up in a kibbutz far away from her family. These experiences turned her intellectual interests toward childhood psychology. She then moved to Italy, where she founded a kindergarten and published several books. She is recognized as a leading childhood psychologist in Italy.
